Notes on January Writer’s Meeting

Due to New Year, our January meeting fell on the second Saturday of the month instead of the first Saturday. Though it caused some confusion, most of us were able to meet at the library as per usual.

Ned suggested the following two websites as a means of checking your manuscript for weak sentences. They are basically free, though they have pay options as well.

Becky did this month’s Writer’s Corner on Point of View. You can view the contents of the lecture in the article below.

We critiqued submissions from Ned, Rita, and Becky.

No writing prompts this month.

Next month will be submissions from Carmen, Rita, and Becky, so get your ready to get your fantasy on. Rita will be doing the Writer’s Corner on the topic of Setting.
